Implantology has been developing rapidly. Missing teeth may be substituted for by several ways – by fixed substitutes – bridges, removable dentures or implants. Each way of substitution has its advantages and drawbacks. When using bridges, at least two adjoining teeth must be rubbed off even if they are healthy. Disadvantages of dentures may be their problematic shape and their maintenance. Implants offer high quality and comfortable alternative. The higher price is compensated by their long durability.
